I know Intel 2120 performs better than AMD FX-4100, however the price of 2120+mobo is much higher, and I can get FX-4100 and mobo with discount $40 at MicroCenter. Phenom II X4 960T is out of stock in MicroCenter now.

Let me know if you have any advice/changes.

  1. The i3 actually performs a lot better than the FX-4. The FX-4100 actually performs about the same as the entry level Pentium G620 in games. The Pentium may be worth a look as it's often quite cheap.

Looks great to me, and your video card is already very good also.

You might also want to look at

It's just a bit more expensive and mATX instead of ATX but you get intel 2120. You can also check the other mobo/cpu deals there in the same page, there are a lot of AMD options as well.
