What type of PSU do I need

Hello,
I'm building my first ever computer, and I was wondering what type of PSU I should buy. Here are my specs

AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 3.6GHz Socket AM3 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX AM3 AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
GIGABYTE GV-N560OC-1GI GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

64 Gb SSD boot drive

1TB storage HDD

I have a case in mind ( the NZXT Phantom ) but I don't know how many fans to use or what size..

More about what type need
  1. Something like this would be just fine: Antec NEO ECO 520C 520W Continuous Power ATX12V v2.3 / EPS12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply $59.99 ($10 off with promo)

Great deal, if you're in the US, anyway.
  2. Thanks.
What do you think about the fans?
How many should I have, and what size?
  3. That's not really my area of expertise, but the 4 fans that come with that case (the Phantom) should be plenty.
  4. Thanks
  5. You're welcome. :)
  6. when it comes to fans, I like to see a minimum of 3, an exhaust at top and back, and an intake at the front if applicable on case(if not intake on side). this does not include HSF fans

    Would you recommend a case?
I'm looking for one under $150

if you have a budget of 150, you have several choices in cases. I cant really say I have a favorite in this range, but usually as case price goes up, if a company has a % off sale on cases, I'd usually tend to follow in that direction.

Neweggwise, current sales are on Lian-Li cases(20-30% off high quality cases, low advertisement)

Common choices on higher budget cases are Corsair, Coolermaster and Antec, and NZXT as well(usually for aesthetics)
