What is the string on the bottom of the CPU's surface means?

I am choosing a Xeon E31230V2 CPU, but I want to know what is the bottom string's meaning, is this means any differences? Can Anyone tell me? Thanks a lot! !

What do you mean by string? (Your image doesn't work.)

Is it a string as in characters? Or a literal piece of string?

I would say that they are just identification numbers to identify the cpu batch and other identifiers of the construction of the cpu.
