Hi everyone,

I've got a HP Compaq dc7100 small form factor pc and am looking to buy a new graphics card for it.
I am not sure as to what will fit my system. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,
Chris.

I fitted an Asus GeForce EN210 Silent to my dc7100 sff and it works perfectly. The part No. is 90-C1CP6Z-L0UANAYZ

I use the HDMI out to connect to a flat screen TV. The HDMI cable also carries the sound signal to the TV, so no extra cables are needed to get the sound out through the TV.

The card is a fanless design and it has worked perfectly with no heat issues whatsoever. The only thing to keep in mind, though, is that if you plan to use the card's nvidia GPU to process video in VLC player, such as to watch HD video, you will need to upgrade to Windows 7 as this feature is not available under XP. Without enabling this option, the HD video will be processed by the CPU instead, and unfortunately, the P4 is a bit too old for this kind of task.

The card comes with the right brackets for the sff.

Thanks for the info Unco, since I posted this thread I was lucky to find a dc5750 on the hard rubbish, so I've sold the dc7100 and bought an ATI Radeon HD 2400XT (256 MB DH) PCIe x16 Graphics Card to put in the dc5750.
Thanks again for the reply.
