Is the stock cooler for i3-2120 fine for gaming?

The stock cooler is sufficient. You will not be overclocking, therefore there is no reason for any cooler other than what comes with it.

Stock will work. However, installing something like the Coolermaster TX3 will offer lower temps and help direct hot air out of the case.
