Can someone please tell me whether ATI Radeon HD 5670 1GB GDDR5 will work on my System...
My System Specs:
Intel Core2Duo E7400 @2.8GHz
2GB RAM DDR2
Motherboard:GIGABYTE-G31M-ES2C

The DDR5 from the video card don't have nothing to do with DDR2 used by your motherboard.

Yes, the GDDR5 or infact any GDDR does not effect the DDR present on the rig. They are not related.
GDDR is the RAM on the Graphics Card and the DDR is what you put on the mobo.
So you are absolutely good to go with that card in that rig.
Your PCIe X 16 slot can handle that GPU. The Light blue one on the board.
Although the card may not need external power the card is still going to be pulling power from the PCIe slot.
Make sure you have a 400-500W PSU.

You just need to open your casing and look at the label printed on the PSU.

It ought to have a label with the power ratings on the side of it.
If it doesn't then just check the make and the model on the sticker if it has one.But most probably it ought to work.
