New laptop

Toms isn't generally known for having a lot of people who are heavily into audio. You might have better luck posting this on Head-Fi under the computer audio section or finding another forum that deals with a lot of this. Other reason I mention this is if sound reproduction is important (not sure for you) than you definately want to head to head-fi they have a lot more knowledgable people on this since the onboard audio for laptops (and desktops) are lacking in this regard usually and they can make some good recomendations.
