Hi,

I have a laptop with these spec
Intel Core 2 Duo T8300@2.4Ghz
2Gb DDR2 667Mhz Dual-Channel
256mb 8700m GT x2 SLI=Enabled
Windows 7 32bit

Well, this is old.But I want to know if I can run games like
COD Black Ops
COD Modern Warfare 3
Battlefield 3
Assassin Creed Revelation

I can max out COD4 and COD WAW with 4x AA @1024x768 even with my single card without any problem.Assassin Creed 1 is also running with max settings@800x600 with 2x AA and I'm using my single card to run this as well. However, fps are between 20-25 as avg. for this game.

FarCry 2 with my both cards runs with 20-60fps@1024x768 with High settings.By running built in benchmark I got 35fps of avg.

So what do you think is this performance is good? Can I run those new games?

I forgot NFS Hot Pursuit also runs well.I gets 17-40fps and mostly 25-35fps and sometimes it drops to 17 for few seconds.

this is what i think...
COD Black Ops > Low specs to medium
COD Modern Warfare 3 >medium to high
Battlefield 3 > can't (maybe very lagged and ultra low specs)
Assassin Creed Revelation > i think you can't. if you can will be very laggy (not much optimization avaiable)

COD Black Ops is more demanding than COD MW3 ? It's strange.

well by what i remember yes, black ops had better graphics and lots of jungle scenarios. at least in campaign it was more demanding on the gpu than modern warfare games.

i'm not so sure because i didn't tested both on same video card, but i think yes, black ops is a little more demanding.

So I should get the COD Black Ops first.I'll see the performance and according to that performance I'll get the others :)

you can get any of them, they all use the same engine since modern warfare so you can play all of call of duty's there i think. if you tweak the graphics you can get to medium high on some settings at that resolution.
