My PC spec:
CPU: Core2 Quad Q8400 2.66GHz
PSU: seasonic S12ii 520w
Monitor: 1440x900
RAM: 8G DDR3

I would like to play Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 at a stable framerate of 60fps at resolution 1440x900. Shall I get the HD6870 or HD6850 for my PC? Will my CPU bottleneck the GPU?

Solution
No bottleneck from where i see. A 6870 is a better choice. your gonna have people tell you to get the Saphire 6850, but tbh i don't see anything great about it on newegg, the reviews for it are disconcerting. A XFX (Lifetime warranty) 6870 will be better. And good luck getting 60FPS constant with Skyrim, i can't even do it and i got 2 GTX 560 ti's in SLI running at 1080p and whenever in a city i run at about 45, and out in the badlands i get 56-60. If i could just find a way to disable vsync i could know what i really get. But i have seen peole running 4 way SLI GTX 480s/580s and Intel 6 cores and still not be able to get 60fps anywhere they go
