Hey
The case i'm getting doesn't have a place for a 3.5" anything including the 7in1 card read floppy combo i was going to get until this dwaned on me. Now is there any way i can make it so that will fit in a 5.25" bay, or is there a 5.25" floppy combo reader?

you thought that someone wanted to put a 5.25" hdd in
gave me a good laugh at least
but on a serious note...who wouldnt want to try to run a PC off a 5.25" hdd? who cares about performance...just to say to some one:

actually..more along the lines of a huge adapter that fit into the 3.5" bay tha tjutted out 10 inches from the case and gave u an extra 5.25" bay.

I'm sorry, but what kind of case doesn't come with at least one 3.5" bay? Or do you have more hdd's than space for them?

It HAS 8 internal HD 3.5" internal bays, but thats no good for a floppy. I mean it has no front access for a floppy. It has 4 5.25" bays, and i'm only using 2, so that adapter will work nicely. 8)

I was thinking an angle grinder, drill, dremel amd MIG welder with 2 small bits of metal.

This would be an expensive kit but at least the 5.25 inch drive would be internal...
