Did you consider the majority of people building a shoestring gyppo rig actually dont have a retail copy of windows 7 so infact no $300 rig is not a reality

I did when Win 7 came out also with XP in 2002. Its because its very parctical if one has its copy of Win XP/7 laying somewhere in a drawer if u need them instantly. If something goes wrong, and system wont boot up you install fresh copy of your OS and thats it,+ numerous other reasons why.Im not good in english so forgive me if dont wright good.

Thats nearly $500 in US monopoly money

Overpriced to hell and seller is clearly a cowboy gives himself a professional sounding name and cant even manage a proper photo without half his home in the background.

To me an OS isn't a part of a "gaming system", it's an investment out side of the computer itself (I know you need it to play though).

I will buy windows 7 retail outside of buying a new computer for reliability reasons. So I can reinstall, repartition, etc. when-ever I want.

If you use Llano you might be able to do it cheap as well.

Semantics are important as they are how we speak lingo yesh

According to the recommended system requirements I have seen on most games, a $300 rig:
A6 5400k apu ($70) could handle both the cpu and the graphics.
RAM is about 40-50 bucks, pretty cheap.
motherboard is about $80 at the maximum.
hard drive is about $60 bucks for almost a terabyte...
case stuff should cost about $50...
that makes about $300
