Conkers: why a "M" rating?

I don't get the *M* rating.
I practically just started the game but all of the swearing is censored so
why a mature rating?
Is there some way to unlock or remove block on swearing?

The bleeping bugged me in Metal Arms. I understand how it can be funny,
but it's only funny once or twice and the timing has to be right.
