Hello all, I am getting ready to build my first computer after I finish moving at the end of the week! I ordered all the parts a few weeks ago and just recently read up on the PSU I ordered and I don't think it was a good one so I have ordered a new one and it should be here soon but I want to make sure it will power everything nicely..

Yup, I ordered most of the parts on Amazon because I have Prime (free 2-day shipping) as almost all prices were in line with Newegg at the time of ordering.

So do you think this PSU should be sufficent? I will do no overclocking or anything of the sort.. Thanks!

The PSU you have selected will work fine. However, you don't need that many watts :)

Something like this will be MORE than enough since you have stated you don't plan on overclocking...and the parts in your rig are pretty power efficient anyway ;)

A CX500v2 could run anything up to a GTX660Ti/GTX670 without a problem I would assume if you plan to upgrade in the future :)

Thanks for the replies!

Sounds good, I should have posted before I ordered the new one but I just did it last night to make sure it would be here by Wednesday evening when I'm gone..

The first one really wouldn't handle it would it?? The OCZ one has a $25 rebate as well so it will only be $45 in the end!

Anyway, I'll feel safe knowing I have alot of headroom if I ever decide to upgrade anything in the future!

The first PSU you selected...well let's just say I probably would've replaced it without even placing it in my rig  I wouldn't trust my life with it..AT ALL.

The OCZ one is a nice deal, however. But take into consideration the efficiency of the power supply drops when it's under 20% load :) This may or may not be of any relevance to you, but it's something to consider.
