Gpu wont work when plugged into

Hello,
I just bought and built a new PC.
Everything is working great, except for when i try and use the ports on my graphics card, I get a blank screen. I bought the Nvidia Geforce 570.
I have a 750W power supply, so I dont think thats the issue, I set my motherboard to use PCI express for graphics, but that doesn't change anything. I'm at a loss can you please help me?

Have you plugged in the PCIe power cables to the 570?
