How many watts do I need in my PSU?

Hello, I'm building a budget gaming computer and I have picked out most of the parts except for the PSU. Can anyone tell me how many watts I would typically need?

Specs:
Amd Phenom II x4 965 BE
Radeon HD 6750
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Sony DVD Drive
ECS A885GM-A2 (V1.1) AM3 AMD 880G SATA 6Gb/s ATX AMD Motherboard
1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 6GB/S

A 400W power supply will run that system easily.

Here's a good power supply that's on sale!

  2. **EDIT**
muffin's PSU is a better value.

Something like this would be more than enough for your rig :)

However, I feel there can be some improvements made to your parts list, what is your budget and country?

Well, i'm a complete noob at building computers, and this is my first one.
Budget is around 300-450 dollars... But all these parts together already add up to about 400 dollars...

    Also, I'm in the US
  4. What is this for?
  5. On the amd website it says 450 watt minimum but take that with a grain of salt people always run cards lower than the minimum just have to make sure its a decent brand.
  6. ^^

That card draws very little. Around 100W at most.
  7. Now I'm debating wheter I should get a cheaper quad core processor by AMD.
Like the A8-XXXXK or maybe even the A6-XXXXK
