Hey guys,

I have an old gateway gt5432 that I wanted to salvage as many parts from to build something that I would use soley to play diablo 3 on. If anyone could recommend the parts that I could keep and some decent quality cheap parts like a processor, video card, motherboard or anything else that would allow me to run the game. I'm not looking for anything visually amazing I just want the game to run at a decent framerate with as little delay as possible. Its just something to keep me occupied for the summer. I have a laptop that I use for work and other computer related things so if i could spend around $250 - $300.

Any help or recommendations would be greater appreciated.

You haven't told us what parts are in it so....is it all stock?

What's the hardrive model? DVD drive? Stock power supply?

I don't think you'll be able to use anything except maybe the dvd drive, MAYBE the hardrive and the case, IF it's a standard atx case.

We also need to know what resolution your monitor is.

Do you guys think these would be good? I can save my hard drive and the DVD drive as well as my monitor. As far as the OS is concerned I would just be able to use the OS from the old computer right?
