Hello, I wanted to ask s the specs are good and if you guys can help me get the best bang for the buck here. I have read a lot in this forum so this is what i have come up with. And the thing i will like to do is this with the pc:
-Gaming 1080p
-Some designing I'm studying engineering
-and Gaming plus video and photo editing
Monitor 24" or more
I already have windows 7, hdd 1tb 3gbs, a 9800gtx+ for physics if i can use it with ati card, dvd drive.

your headset mouse keyboard speakers and monitor are what are pushing you over the budget xD

And do you have a HDD?

I can't really think of anything that will cut down on costs too much.
I don't believe that the sound card is 100% necessary, and you could always just buy a cheap mouse/keyboard for the time being.
You could probably also find a decent case for about $50. I'm not too experienced in PC building myself so I don't want to give you any bad advice.

You want a Z77 board if you plan on video editing for the use of quick syn and lucid virtu. Also I would hold off on a sound card until you hear the on board sound first. Chances are you will forgo purchasing the sound card. $379.98

ok thx for the advice and my video editing plan is not really heavy video editing more like fraps and some short videos anymore advice
