I have these black edges around my new monitor.
I tried the settings in my ccc, scaling option and the options on the monitor itself. No luck. Any ideas?

If this effects anything 1776 x 1000 look better than 1920x1080.

Graphics card = amd radeon hd 6450

what monitor and how are you connecting? HDMI usually seems to have scaling issues while DVI just works. I know you can adjust it though

I am using HDMI to connect, but my DVI port is covered by my other monitor. So if we could find a way to get HDMI to work, that would be great.

On my 6870 have to change the scaling options under the my digital flat panels, moved the underscan to the right till it looked correct.
