Hi Guys,

I'm from the UK and trying to build my first ever gaming pc. I've browsed these forums quite a bit and read a few of the build challenges very cool. I've chosen some parts but dont know if its the best bang for my buck. New Egg prices are so good compared to prices in the UK . UK is so dam expensive!

Approximate Purchase Date: Tomorrow

Budget Range:£600-00 ive gone over though!

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (gaming, surfing the internet, coding, watching movies)

Parts Not Required: N/A

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon.co.uk I get a discount here.

Country: UK

Parts Preferences: by brand or type : N/A

Overclocking: No probably not never have cant see me doing this

SLI or Crossfire: stick to one GPU for now with possibly going down this route later

Monitor Resolution:1920x1080

This is what I've come up with so far, please give me any suggestions/recommendations, will this all hang together and will I be able to upgrade later on. Is the motherboard future proof for at least 3 years?

Consider this motherboard if you can get it cheaper

Otherwise everything looks ok except for the psu.

I'd go for a Antec, Corsair, XFX, Seasonic, OCZ, etc.
Something at least 80+ certified with at least a 3yr warranty.

You don't want to buy some generic CIT and trust it to take care of your expensive components, the psu is the most important component of the computer.
