:hello: im building and i dont know what power supply i need to buy so please help me

my spes are:

Cpu:Intel core i3770k

motherboard: asrock extrem 4 /asus v-pro/asus-v cant decide

gpu: gtx 670 or ati 7950

Ssd:Ocz vertex 4 128gb

memory: crosair vegenance 16gb

an psu : i dont know help me please i need around 50$-100$ a solid one

Objective: im going to overclock and play games ultra quality

sli is cost alot idk im just getting 1 gpu and want to play on ultra sittings do you think 600 wats will be good for overclocking and i want to add fan controller

A modern single-GPU single-CPU system without ridiculous amounts of fans, LEDs, 12V-powered chiller/TEC or other esoteric/unnecessary loads uses around 350W even if you overclock the heck out of everything so a 'real' (good) 450W PSU would do the job.

I agree with Area51reopened a Corsair TX 650 or the 750 should be fine for your needs (I was actually going to say a TX 650 XD).

The one you linked (http://www.directcanada.com/products/?sku=11180AC9104) is fine. the one Area51 said is just more expensive because it's semi modular (disconnect-able cables "better for cable management"). the only drawback in general for most modular PSUs is that they tend to be slightly less efficient (not sure about the corsair tx 750M)
