Question: PCI-E 2.0x16 and PCI-E 2.0x8 setup

Hi forum members

My motherboard is a MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) with one PCI-E 2.0x16 and one PCI-E 2.0x8 slot for graphic cards.I have two PCI-E 2.0 graphic cards with the NVIDIA chipsets. One card is a GTS250 and the other is a GT520 both from gainward.

My question is can i put them in the mentioned slots. I won't use them for SLI but only for quad monitor setup.

Yes you can use. You can use even Nvidia and AMD video cards in the same PC.

With PSU i guess you mean the power supply unit. If yes, than that shouldn't be the problem it's a 500W power supply.
