Hi i'm finally starting my new build for gaming use and I have not done a build for a longtime and could use abit of dirrection with my selected kit. I.e better replacement for performance or budget. Currently i've got £1300 but can stretch that if need be.
CPU: intel i7 3770k, MB: Asus p8z77-v deluxe, GPU: 670 GTX (asus twin fan model), RAM: colsair 8GB dominator platinum c9 (x1/8gb), CASE: nzxt phantom tower.

Can anyone give good options for the PSU as I will be going sli with 2x 670 gtx's soon after and a suitable water cooling kit that will fit the case like the colsair h100 or respective models.

The i7 3770k doesn't significantly improve gaming performance over the i5 3570k; I'd go for the 3570k and save that money for other components. At what resolution are you going to game? You don't need to SLI your GTX 570 unless you're planning a multi-monitor setup for large resolutions...

A system with two GTX 670s running in two-way SLI mode requires a 700W PSU with four 75W 6-pin PCIe power connectors and 48A on the 12V rails. Total watts is not as important as amperage on the 12V rails because the two primary power draws, CPU and GPU, get most of their power from the 12V rails.

A system with a single GTX 670 requires a 500W PSU with two 75W 6-pin PCIe power connectors and at least 32A on the 12V rails.

Ok so I should save my money an go for the i5 as I could overclock it anyway if needed I suppose.
I'm planning to run at the highest possible rez that my 32" monitor can handle so 1080p is max, but obviously FPS and texture quality will come first.
And finally is the 680 gtx really worth the extra price, yes it does perform better but though trails i've read only a fraction better FPS on average than the 670, so surely the 670 is the one when power to cost ratio is applied. Cant wait though this £1300 or $1900 mashine will do me fine in the long run.

Gaming at 1080P you only need a single GTX670; you'll be able to max settings for basically any game on the street with one of them. For a single GTX 670 a great option in the UK is the XFX Core 550W for 50: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/550w-xfx-pro-series-core-edition-p1-550s-ukb9-85-eff-80-plus-bronze-sli-crossfire-eps-12v-fan-atx-v2 You can get the XFX Core 550W on Amazon for the same prie with free shipping, too.

The i5 3570K is almost 100 less expensive than the i7 3770K....you save money with this option.

If you wanted to build in the option for getting a second GTX 670, then the XFX Core 650W with four 6-pin PCIe power connectors and 53A on the 12V rails is sufficient for an SLI of GXT 670 GPUs. To be clear...get the XFX Core 550W if you only want to use a single GXT670. You don't need the XFX Core 650W unless you plan on SLi of your GPU.
