Advice for First Build

Hi,
I am building my first desktop and I have been researching the parts that make it up for a while now. I am planning on building this system during the early part of the summer (late May early June), just need to make the rest of the money first . I think I have a good set up, but then again I am new to all of this. So the two questions I am asking here are...

1) Are all of these parts compatible with each other?

2) Is the PSU powerful enough for the build?

Lastly and advice for other parts that might be better, I'm set around $1500-1700 but could possibly go a couple hundred higher if it was truly worth it.

What is this build for? Yes they will work but you can make it cheaper. Again depending on your need.

This build is for gaming and some programming. I also want this computer to last for a long while. I also have a $500 dollar gift card to use on this build, I feel that $1000 isnt that bad of a price
