Hi all,
Looking for some advice putting a gaming pc together. I was going to buy a prebuilt as I don't know much about putting pc's together.
Approximate Purchase Date: within 2 weeks
Budget Range: $1,000-$2,000 before rebates
System Usage from Most to Least Important: playing games like bf3 and skyrim on best possible settings
Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: must be from ncix.com as I will be using their assemble option.
Country: Canada
Parts Preferences: -ivy bridge chip (to future proof it?)
-16gb ram (to future proof it?)
-gtx 680 (looking at pcpartpicker I notice that there is different 680 cards, which do I go with?)
-blu ray/DVD/cd burner
Overclocking: Maybe ? Don't know how, but might look into it in the future.
SLI or Crossfire: Same as above
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080 / 1920x1200 (I haven't picked out a monitor yet)
Additional Comments: I want this thing to last at least 3-4 yrs, if possible.
