do you think this cpu is any good for th price?
like i know its celeron but like jsut for a internet computer and stuff..would it run fast?
If your not going to be doing any serious gaming, then it will be fine. I built one with the Celeron 340(2.93GHz) for my dad, e-mail, web..just basic stuff, and it works great.

PS. Don't forget that doesn't come with a heatsink/fan, so that will cost another $20+.

*cringes

there's nothing wrong with a celeron, it's the chipset on the mobo that worries me.

try to find a similar combo with an intel chipset.

Good point.

Unless of course that particular combo actually slashes the celeron price to more than 50% compared to buying them separately. (How much is a celeron 3.33 GHz nowadays anyway ? :) )

If that's the case, then I guess go for it. Afterall , its just for mundane tasks .... right ??

(Warning: Adult language. (It is a Tupac song))

irishsk8rpatrick - This is a decent price, but be forewarned that you will probably not be able to upgrade much later on. It has an old AGP slot, as well as DDR1 and is not Core 2 Duo compatible. Money saved now, but will cost you in the future.
