There's nothing wrong with a 890 chipset board. And Sapphire is a quality graphics card manufacturer. But they just ventured into the motherboard business, so there isn't a lot of reviews yet. Two mid-range cards in Xfire have the nasty habit of producing micro-stutter issues. I would recommend going for a high end card with the possibility of adding a 2nd card later if you want to do Xfire.

Sapphire just started making mobo's so they haven't exactly perfected their technique yet.I would suggest going for another brand.Surely their are better mobo's for the same price point.

What is your budget for a mobo? Also what are your other system specs?

As for a 7770 crossfire I think it's actually a great choice because the price to performance ratio is very good. For $300 you get the performance of a $450+ GTX580.And that's without O.C.ing.

Here's a review...
