Hello,
I can play WOW online pretty well (some lag), and almost any other game, but I've been reading this card isn't that great. It won't even let me play The Witcher from 1998. Can you give me an idea of what video card I should get to replace it. I don't play WOW anymore, but I plan on playing Skyrim soon. I am using a Gateway SX2803, Pentium Dual Core E5800 3.20, Windows 7 64 bit, 6GB RAM. Low priced suggestions of course ;).

Hi, Welcome to the forums.

Could you give us some PSU information? it's really hard to recommend a graphics card without knowing what your PSU is. If you don't know, it's the box inside your computer with all the wires coming out of it. Pretty easy to spot. Anyway, list off the specs on the label, or just take a picture of the label and upload it. Armed with that information, plus max budget, will allow me to make a good suggestion.

Cheers ;)

it's mostly chinese lol, but the max power output is 220W. Anything under $100 is cool. I'm not a hardcore gamer, so I don't need the very best of every setting, but I'd like a card that would be ok with games coming out in the next 2 years or so.

Hmm, 220w? You'll probably need a new PSU then.

here's my suggestions.
PSU: CX430 V2 $44 ($8 off with promo code, plus a $20 off rebate)
Your options are then much more open.

Umm, where are you getting this information? I'm not misleading anyone. http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/304?vs=296 Benchmarks don't lie. They trade blows fairly evenly, sometimes the 5770 wins sometimes the 4870. Othertimes it's nearly even.
