Help me! My computer freezes when playing new games!

Hello,
I could really use some help here! I dont know anything about about whats inside the computer. I know whats in there and the names of it. I need because my computer keeps crashing when playing games like WoW, CoDMW3, DeadIsland, and new games. I really think its an over heating problem but I'm not sure at all. Without knowing your hardware specs, nobody can help you. If you download CPU ID Hardware monitor (google) it should tell you all your specifications and temperatures.
