Yes these are 37 year old kenwood 15" subwoofers and want to replace them and power these bad boys correctly. I also am looking to push my video productions to the next level this summer. The reciever is a 5 year old 420Watt sony model. I do alot of video production/music editing with my computer right now. Im also an engineer so I like organization and have a decent eye for top quality tech however im sure you guys know alot more than i do currently.
Quick PC specs:Its an i7, 8gb ram, windows 7 64 bit, AMD 6870, 2 tb hardrive, 1tb external and onboard sound from this mobo:EVGA X58 FTW3 132-GT-E768-KR LGA 1366 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. One thing i know forsure ill need is a SSD soon but im waiting for prices to drop on those bad boys.
What I want to purchase in the near future is some upgrades that will assist with my video productions, recording equipment, sound and pushing my subs to there full potential. I also am looking into surveillance systems for security.
