Front Panel Audio and Mic jack are not working

Hi guys I have a cooler master elite 430 as well as a z75 pro 3 motherboard. The two front audio jacks on the front of my case do not work. I've double checked my hd audio wire and made sure ti was firmly connected to my motherboard. I've also isntalled all of the audio drivers needed. However they still do not work. Am I missing something here? Do you guys have any troubleshooting advice? Thanks!

Check in sound settings in control panel and sound manager if one installed with your drivers.

motherboard header HD/AZALIA audio or AC97? sometimes chassis have 2 headers you need the correct one

if your system is within ~5 years old you want the HD/AZALIA connector NOT the AC97

I just recently built mine and it is hdaudio.
