480 for sure! it used to be the fastest single gpu card, and it still is a beast. Its equal to a gtx 570, WAY better than a 550ti.
They are super cheap these days cause they are old, grab one if you find a cheap one.

Only problem is the gtx480 is well known to be the hottest, most power hungry card ever.

Some games don't support SLI very well, but eventually Nvidia develops drivers that will offer the best support possible for the games.
