So I'm looking into getting an Radeon HD 6870 1GB specifcly this one SAPPHIRE 100314-3L Radeon HD 6870 1GB.

I just need to be sure my PSU can handle it.

PSU: XFX Core Edition PRO550W

PC Specs.
Motherboard: Gigabyte M68MT-S2
Processor: AMD FX-4100 3.6GHz
Memory: 8GB DDR3 1333
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

I will not be crossfiring/overclocking the 6870.

Now for the random questions this card had been recommend to me based of my specs so when I looked it up on NewEgg I saw a bunch of different brands. I'm just curious as to which has better quality? I did notice the XFX seem to have complaints of it getting hot.

Also how would this card perform with my system? Oh and my monitor resolution is 1600x900.

Thank you and if you need more info just tell me.

Your PSU can easily handle a 6870. I would go with Sapphire because they run decently quiet and never had one fail on me, ever.
