Hi, I've just built this machine for gaming (games like flight simulator, dirt 3, the sims 3 ect.) and for web browsing and a little bit of media editing and general use.

I plan to up the RAM to 16GB, a SSD for windows and a 1gb graphics card but i ran out of money this month because i just brought everything below.

AMD FX-8120 @ 3.6GHz (OC'd)
4GB DDR3 1333MHz Ram (1 stick)
Gigabyte 970A-DS3
Radeon X700 Pro (256MB)
500GB Sata2 HDD
200GB Sata HDD
450watt PSU
Sata DVD-RW Drive

I like computers to be quick so most little things like loading word 2010 or loading itunes needs be be near enough instand (<1second)

More about : good custom build

No, it's not really that good.

as I said i'd be upgrading it more, i know the graphics card isnt that good and it needs more ram,

NOTE - I meant to say a 500gb sata 3 (6GBPS) hard drive

Yeah, the GPU really needs upgrading.

You will be limited in your choice of graphics cards by that 450 watt psu. Basically any good graphics card will require more power

once you get the new ram&video card you'll have a very nice pc on your hands:)
The ssd will also make "those little things" really fast

yeah the graphics card was good when i got it but now its old, im looking at getting a 1gb vga/hdmi one next month and maybe another 4gb ram

That Video Card is like 7 years old. You almost can't play anything on it...

Too bad your motherboard doesn't have onboard Video. It would be better
