This is what I'm looking at for my gaming rig:

Case: Thermaltake Chaser MK-1
Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe
CPU: i7-3770k
Memory: 16GB Corsair Vengeance (4 x 4GB)
Hard Drives: 2 x Corsair Force GT 120GB Raid 0
Video: EVGA Superclocked Geforce GTX 580
CPU Cooling: Corsair H100
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 80 Plus 1000 watts

I already have a 1TB 7200 RPM HD for storage.

How does this sound, what improvements would you make?

Thanks!

sounds good to me, the only improvement is to throw an SSD in there.

I'd drop the 3770K and go for a 3570K. unless you need 8 threads for major multi-tasking.
I'd get rid of that CM PSU and get an ~ 850 Watt Antec, Seasonic, or Corsair PSU. If you plan on doing an SLI rig in the future a 1000 watt might be warranted but not if you will just keep the single GTX580
CM often uses liar labels on their PSUs, meaning you don't get what you thought you were getting... Then they break and you get a heavy paperweight.

Oh yeah... get this SSD. Newegg has the Highly Recommended 128 Gb Crucial M4 for $99 today only!

Edit: Nevermind... It just sold out...
