With that Ivy Bridge CPU I recommend getting a Z77 Motherboard so you can use the IB features... IE Native USB 3.0 support.

Do you have a Micro Center nearby? www.microcenter.com They have the i5 3570K for $190 plus they will give you $50 off on select Z77 mobos when you buy one.

For the new mobo im looking at the asus P8z77-v because it has built in WiFi-Go!, which is a cool feature i think i would use.
