Well, you might want to begin by telling us what your system specs are ;)

Go into "Run" or just Search as it is nowadays, and type "dxdiag" and it should show a program, launch that and it says it all there :)

try a 5670. anything else would be a waste. your system couldn't push it.

That is quite an old processor, and it might be a problem actually, if i were you i'd start saving money and upgrade to a new computer instead! Cause right now I don't think a graphics card would do much help to be honest!

+1 This if you don't like my idea, but really speaking a new graphics card will only make your system slightly faster!

Yeah... But if you can find a graphics card for 40ish bucks off ebay, thats decent (you would have to ask here) then sure its worth it, but those old components are still setting you back to be honest.

At $215 I'd order the 900Mhz 560 Ti .....dang yesterday was $10 cheaper .... 495 fps in Guru3D game test suite

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

If ya gotta stay below $200, (434 fps in the same suite) Id get the 6870 which can be had for $145 and comes with free Dirt 3

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Finally, the 6850 is a bit down the charts at 371 fps....for $135

Best solution

a c 105 U Graphics card

yes, it should work fine for what you have. no need for extra power to the card. will work fine off the pci-e slot.

the mention of memory. i read you only have 512............ that really is needed in your machine. Vista will eat most of it.
