Hey guys just got a question

So i bought a monitor last year for about $260 a samsung 24inch 1080P and my mothers boyfriend also got new monitor around same time a Asus 27inch one sorry don't remeber what model it was but i can tell you samsung was 60hz and 5ms @ 1080p

So my question is on both these monitors. We was playing crysis 2 and the intros and movie parts were pixalted even my mother boyfriends had same issue and hes was way more expensive then mine

why was it pixalated ? few other games had this issue but ingame was fine no pixal problems

I recently bought a samsung 27inch SA950 and it did not have this problem so i was wondering if had something to do with just being crap products

Solution
The videos or movies were encoded at a lower resolution, then stretched to fill the entire screen. This stretching causes pixelation. Also, when videos or movies are recoded at a low bit rate that can also cause pixelation. There's nothing you can do about it.
