im not looking to run all the new games on ultra settings but would like them to run smooth. im open to suggestions on parts. i could also use some tips for assembling everything

OMG I just saw your monitor resolution.

I'd recommend getting a new monitor, your parts you chose are complete overkill for such a small monitor, those parts are meant to run 1920x1080, which is standard for today's monitors.

It'll be the equivalent of buying a very fast car but never going over 40mph. It'll be a complete waste.
 


I recommended a motheboard already.

For monitor, 22" (1920x1080p), Acer, Asus, Samsung are good.
