I'm looking at a Dell workstation wst7400 that has a single Xeon E5405 2.00 ghz I'm thinking about adding a second. I imagine the second has to match the first one. This system has 32 bit vista ultimate will it run 2 quad core cpu's? I't has 4GB of ram should I up the ram? I primary want to use this for 3D/CAD INVENTOR 2013. The price is around $550... Let me know if this is worth the money???

32 bit Vista won't support over 4 GB of Memory. The machine seems like it is an OK price, but to get the most out of it for CAD and Inventor you would at least want more memory, which means a 64 bit operating system. What kind of video card does the machine have in it?

Nvida Quadro FX 1700 (512 MB) 4GB of Ram. on board now. In Dell spec. 64 MB with a riser board. Would It be ok if I run it with 4gb with some small modeling of parts.. Right now I HAVE AN OLD DELL P4 HT 3.0 no video card and 2GB of ram. I'm suprised inventor loads... I'm an engineer out of work so money is tight. I'd didn't want to buy a gaming machine. I know this would last...
