First gaming rig build help

Hi there, how does this sound. I live in NZ so parts are expensive so this is for $1000 NZ. Would use for gaming on new games

Core i5 2400
4GB DDR3 1333MHz
Gigabyte b75m-d3h
Asus 7770 DC
500W Enermax tomahawk 2
500GB WD Cavier Blue
Raidmax Atlas Case

Any improvements welcome, or if things aren't compatible could you say. Cheers

If you can still find a 6850/6870 they're more powerful than a 7770.

I'm not confident in the PSU.

if this is for gaming, I'd suggest getting a Core i3 and using that budget on a better graphics card, possibly a HD6950 or GTX560Ti.

I'd recommend at least an HD 6870, but an HD 7770 should be fine - the new AMD architecture is great for DX11 games. I hope you're playing on a lower-res monitor, or that you're okay with medium settings in games.
