G skill ripjaws 16 gb
Dual evga gtx 580 3gb sli w/ 1 arctic cooling fan and 1 stock fan
Seagate momentus 750 gb ssd/hdd hybrid
A simple hdd 1 tb for storage

^if you already own it then it's good but if you are going to but it then i would suggest making some wise decisions.e.g. for gaming,2500k>2700k.

why not some 680s

^because you need $1k for 2 680s and $1.5k for 3 680s.

Its already built. I had about $2000 budget and came into to some extra cash for the 2nd 580. I bought them before the 680 came out. The 580 has only slightly more memory bandwidth and a 15% better pixel rate. The texture filtering is where 680 destroys the 580. Im happy with the 580s though.

If I had the money at the time I would have gotten an i7 3930 and an asus sabertooth 2011 socket for direct x 11 but it still runs like a dream. Whats the difference from the 2500k to 2700k cpu. 2700 was only just over $300

if you have got this rig then it's a great rig.overclock your cpu as well as gpus.

Yeah nice rig, thing is a beast. Only difference is that the i7 has hyperthreading while the i5's do not.
