Hey, this is my first time building a computer. I'm not really sure on what kind of graphics card to get or what type of PSU I need. This is what I have at the moment:

Case:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6531504&sku=C283-2094

Mother Board:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=667674&sku=G452-1041

Processor:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1308191&sku=A79-8150

RAM:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=40739&sku=C13-5720

Hard Drive:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7281716&sku=TSD-500AAKX

CD Drive:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=752604&sku=A455-5031

PSU:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4558896&sku=U12-40504

Graphics Card:
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=555358&sku=E145-1566

I think the graphics card and the PSU I chose are adequate, but if there is something else better for a decent price let me know. I was also thinking of getting a liquid cooling system as well, unfortunately I don't know what a good brand would be  . My budget is 0504$1000-$1400; will be used for Gaming and Video editing

Bad psu (Ultra) and that build can be vastly improved on. Here's a build that will give you more performance.

HMMM, okay then. This is what I have now based on the recommendations of everyone and also a bit of browsing:

Cooling Fans:
http://www.bestdirect.ca/products/232488/R4-BMBS-20PK-R0/COOLERMASTER/ x3

It comes up to $1207.84 before taxes. What do you think??

Everything looks good but three things. That Cooler Master psu the case and the RAM.

Cooler Master psu's aren't recommended by anyone on here for the fact they suck, and you don't need a 850w psu unless you plan on powering a jet engine. A 650 psu will easily push two of those cards, and if you want plenty of head room then go for a 750w.

http://www.bestdirect.ca/category/?minorcatid=1066&vendorid=2052 <----- XFX psu's. They are manufactured by Seasonic as are the mid and upper tier Corsair psu's. There is a modular and non modular 750w psu's on there. Modular psu goes for $105.

Second no no is that Corsair RAM with those cake cutter heat spreaders. Those heat spreaders are going to kill you when you go to add that cpu heat sink.

http://www.bestdirect.ca/products/235567/CML8GX3M2A1600C9/CORSAIR/ <----- you want those right there.

Last is the case. That Cooler Master Elite is small and I mean really small. Look for a case that has room to fit all your components, good cooling, and front 3.0 USB ports.

Look at the Corsair 300R, Corsair 400R, or the Cooler Master Storm Enforcer (not really a good choice though...no side cooling and its a hot box), Cooler Master 922 even and then just add a Biostar front 3.0 USB panel to it.

http://www.bestdirect.ca/products/241699/FRONT%20PANEL%20USB%203.0%20BOX/ASUS/ <---- that's one there but Biostar has a cheaper version and Cooler Master might also.

You want a totally cool arse case? This case was released less than two weeks ago and it's a killer.

http://www.bestdirect.ca/products/242334/RC-922XM-KKN1/COOLERMASTER/ $119.90
Coolermaster HAF XM ATX Mid Tower Case Black 3X5.25 8X3.5INT Red LED Light *No PSU*

http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6821 <----- Check it out. You can see it on newegg also. That case has everything, and I mean everything.

I did a bit of research on the case you recommended (the HAF MX). It looks freaking epic and their are so many positive reviews on it. I'm going to go with the XFX 750W PRO750W Core Edition( http://www.bestdirect.ca/products/233768/P1750SNLB9/XFX/ ), it's a good price. And i guess your right about the RAM cards, they are awkwardly shaped :na: . I don't think I'll need those fans since i don't really have much to cool, so I'll just drop them. Total comes up to $1401.30 (including tax); only $1.30 over budget, not bad :D
