I just bought and got the Corsair 400r and it has 1 fire wire port in the front. WHAT USES FIRE WIRE?!? I have never used fire wire before in my life and i was just wondering what i could possibly use with it? Thanks
Older digital video (DV) cameras and some external HDDs use(d) Firewire. It was part of Apple's thing back in the late 80s/early 90s for connecting consumer appliances to Apple PCs.

But why would corsair even put one on then lol it makes no sense!
Many new cases still do have it. It's just for convenience since it was such a common protocol for enthusiast devices a few years back. I don't have that hooked up on the front of my case, but the same goes for my HD audio, USB 3.0, and e-SATA.
