Hi all this is my first time overclocking my cpu and i have just overclocked my cpu just to see what my 3dmark11 score would be and was wondering if my max temps are ok.

I oced my i5 3570k to 4.33ghz using autotune on the z77x-d3h motherboard and after running the performance bench on 3dmark11 heres what i get

Core#0 75c Max
Core#1 79c Max
Core#2 82c Max
Core#3 77c Max
Package 82c Max

So yeah my question is are these safe or should i drop the overclock to something smaller, and i am also using the standard heatsink

They all idle at around 40c average

Any feedback is appreciated

You should definitely not try to overclock to that extent if you do not have an aftermarket cooler. If you want a higher clockrate, you can turn on turbo mode, and it will boost it by 0.1 GHz per core. That's all I will recommend. If you wish to overclock, I would recommend getting a Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212.
