What's the order i should upgrade?

Im running:

windows 7 64 bit
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3
MSI 870-G45 AM3 AMD
AMD Athlon II X4 635 Propus 2.9GHz
CORSAIR CMPSU-400CX 400W
Seagate Barracuda 500GB
EVGA 512-P3-1240-LR GeForce GT 240 512MB 128-bit DDR5

whats the order i should upgrade my pc?
For example : cpu, gpu, ram
or should i upgrade gpu and will i need more power supply?

I've played mass effect 1 with no problems
though just started beta version of the Secret world and am having sum problems i assume my pc its getting little outdate
i also do video edting on after effects and do photshop work and little bit of 3d modeling

I've only built 1 pc so im still a newbie

agreed, the most notable improvements for your rig will be installing a new GPU for gaming performance or adding an ssd to load OS/programs from for a more responsivness. Then I would say if your not satisfied, PSU which will give you more room for upgrading, chipset and CPU for overall performance, then better cooling/more hdd space.
