Hello all. I have 3 4:3 monitors (Dell, IBM, and HannsG, all 1280x1024) and 3 video cards, one of which is installed. The 3 are Nvidia 7300GS, 9400GT, and a GT430. The GT430 is installed on my ASUS M5A97 mobo. My question then: I want to use all 3 of my monitors, but I don't know if, or how I can. I know my motherboard supports SLI, but as far as I know I can't take advantage of my SLI because I do not have two of the same video cards. If I am wrong, or if someone has got a way for me to do such a thing, I'll be incredibly greatful.

So... Just turn off my pc and install the 9400GT card, then turn the pc on?

I mean... that's obvious... but like, install it, then boot and it should work? Do I have to reinstall all my drivers?

Not even that. The cards all use the same nvidia unified driver.

You might have to set up the extended desktop, but that is all.

Awesome, I'll have to get that a shot! I remember (before I had my GT430) I put my 7300GS and 9400GT onto the same mobo and it did NOT like that... my drivers were all caddy wompus, yaknow? Everything was askew and I had to reinstall all my stuff.

Yep, same problem. Put the 9400GT on the mobo, rebooted, no second monitor, no NVidia program on my machine at all, having to redownload. It brought itself to Win7 basic-mode. Wonderful.
