Was interested in grabbing an XFX Radeon HD 5570 because i am only interested in getting dual monitor support for my PC. And from what i see it seems at least slightly better than my on-board "Intel HD Graphics 2000".

So question. I notice the 5570 has ports for 1xVGA, 1xDVI, 1xHDMI. I want to hook up my two DVI monitors and so i will have to use the DVI and HDMI ports of the 5570. So using the appropriate adapter (HDMI-DVI) am i able to successfully have two digital displays using this card?

Or will the HDMI turn off the DVI port as i've read happens when you have 3 monitors? Again, i only want 2 monitors.

I think you can run any two out of the three ports at the same time, so you should be ok.

If you are not playing fast action games, a 5570 is probably not worth it.

You can definitely support dual monitors. Not an issue at all.

Good luck!
