Hi,
I am currently building a PC, I am trying to install my CPU (i7-770k) onto my ASUS motherboard which states it supports LGA1155.
I have correctly aligned the CPU into the slot so I am certain there are no issues there. When it comes to closing the lever however there is very pressured force and I am worried that if I apply too much pressure there might be damages, there are already two small dents either side of the CPU from the pressure.

Is it supposed to be this hard to close the load lever? I can also hear a scratching like sound when I attempt to close the hatch.

Please let me know if I should go ahead and apply a heavy force to close the lever, It also seems the lever is bending when I am trying push the lever back into place, I have not yet fully closed it as I want to know if this is normal first.

Thanks.
