Hello,

I'm looking for a PSU for my rig and I've found this Corsair HX750 for quite a cheap price http://www.corsair.com/professional-series-hx750-80-plu...

As always, looking for reviews before buying I've found this on Newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Now what I'm not getting is that it seems like it's the same PSU but Newegg has it rated gold and on corsair's site it's rated silver.
Can you tell me what am I missing?

Thanks

I noticed that, but it's the same model. Does that mean its modified for extra efficiency or was it re-evaluated and rated 80 PLUS Gold?

I would imagine that it was just re-evaluated.
