Feedback on proposed budget (<$800) gaming system

I am planning on building my first computer. I am attempting to build a unit that will handle game playing (Diablo 3) as well and general computing task (home/business) and staying in the $700-$800 range. I have listed the components that I plan to use below and would greatly appreciate any feedback or comments/recommendations. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Why not go with a newer tech motherboard that will allow you some future upgrading that is a touch cheaper.

    ASRock B75 PRO3 LGA 1155 Intel B75 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - 79.99

You can downgrade your RAM to 1333 speeds and not truly notice a difference for gaming.

    G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) - 41.99

I would not recommend a 5900rpm green drive as a primary drive. I would look into something like these.

    Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB - 79.99
    Seagate Barracuda 750GB - 79.99
    Samsung by Seagate Spinpoint F3 500GB - 79.99

take that extra money from the motherboard, ram, and HDD and put it towards this.

    SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6850 - 149.99 (before 10.00 MIR)
  2. Thanks, I took many of your recommendations, the build is now complete, the computer is up and running and I am very pleased with the experience and the results.
